Turkey Hunts

Do you have any desire to spend a crisp quiet spring dawn in the woods listening to the turkeys leave their roost and trying to outwit one of the largest, smartest, and most beautiful game birds in the world?  If you do we have both the woods and the turkeys in quantities you won't believe.  Chautauqua County has so many wild turkeys that the Kansas Department of Wildlife uses these flocks to seed other areas throughout the state.  On winter mornings it is common to see several hundred birds in each flock.  In the spring they split up, spread out and the woods and fields come alive with turkey talk.
